Stir in one 15.5 or 16-ounce can of what I used Manwich; heat through. I Added 1 large table spoon already mixed Dip Sensations Southwest Chipotle mix for extra flavor, along with 2 teaspoons of Pepperika 7 pepper hot sauce, heat all together. Pepperika Hot Wings
BBQ Hot wings: one dozen
Mix 1 bottle (12 oz) of your favorite BBQ sauce, with one bottle (5 oz ) Pepperika 7 pepper hot sauce in a bowl. Place a sheet of aluminum foil under the wings on your baking sheet, make sure you use a piece larger than the pan itself. To make your wings even better marinade your wings over night only using the sauce you mixed up. Enclose your wings to keep the sauce on the wings. When ready to bake, either way if you marinated your wings or not, keep the wings enclosed with the aluminum foil. Keep wings on baking sheet in oven, Bake wings right on pan enclosed in aluminum foil to hold the sauce in and cover the wings – for 30-45 min depending on your oven @ 375 degrees. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t burn. All depends on the size of the wings you have on how long they will be ready.
Use as much or as little of the sauce, use to your liking! The recipe is used to make one dozen Hot BBQ wings. This combination of BBQ sauce and Pepperika 7 pepper hot sauce is awesome! You can try it on pizza, Steak, Chicken breast, just about anything. Experiment your self and see.
Pepperika Seafood Cocktail Recipe
Courtesy of Earthy Delights. { Chef David }
2 Tbsp Pepperika 7 Pepper Hot Sauce (or more, to taste)
8 oz tomato sauce (I like El Pato brand spicy Mexican-style tomato sauce)
1/2 cup diced onion (about 1 medium)
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 fresh chile peppers, serrano or jalapeno, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
1 ripe avocado
12 large prawns (16 – 20 size)
4 oz bay scallops
8 oz fresh squid (calamari) tubes & tentacles, cleaned
1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice (about 3 medium limes)
1 tsp sea salt
Additional fresh lime wedges
Heat the tomato sauce in a heavy sauce pan over medium heat. Add half the onions, the
chopped garlic and 1 sliced chile pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat,
stir in 2 Tbsp of the chopped cilantro and allow to cool completely.
Remove the shells from the prawns (if any), leaving the tail intact. Clean the squid if it hasn’t
been cleaned already, removing the internal organs, “quill” and beak. Cut away the head &
eyes, leaving the tentacles intact. Slice the tubes crosswise into rings.
Prepare an ice water bath by filling a large bowl halfway with ice and water; set aside.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. The prawns, scallops and squid will cook very quickly;
take care not to overcook them or they’ll become tough and rubbery. First, add the prawns
and reduce the heat to low and wait one minute. Now add the squid tentacles and lastly, the
bay scallops and squid rings. IMMEDIATELY TURN OFF THE HEAT. Cover the pot and wait
for two minutes. Quickly drain the seafood and plunge into the icewater bath until cool. Drain
well and place into a large nonreactive bowl.
Add the remaining chopped onion, chile pepper, cilantro, salt and lime juice to the seafood
mixture. Stir well to mix and cover. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Halve the avocado, remove the pit and using a knife, score the flesh into squares and scoop
out of the shell. Combine the seafood mixture with the spicy tomato sauce, avocado and 2
Tbsp of Pepperika 7 Pepper Hot Sauce (or more to taste).
Spoon into cocktail glasses, garnish with a slice of fresh lime and serve with crispy tortilla
chips.
